Hello everyone,
I'm organising an event in King's Wood near Ashford in collaboration with Stour Valley Arts (an environmental art organisation who overlooks the forest). The event is called 'Edible Forest' and we aim to invite a few foragers from UK to share their knowledge and tell people about their projects.
At the event, we are planning to split people into groups and go for a foraging walks through the forest, to eventually meet all together in one location around a large sculptured table 'Tabula Fortis in Pace', built from reclaimed timber by artists Anthony Heywood and Uwe Derksen. There we will have conversations around the table about your fascinating projects, and munch on freshly baked bread from a clay oven, built in the forest for the event.
If you are interested in participating by leading one of the groups on the foraging walk in King's Wood on 24th August 2013, please contact me at: marta.patlewicz@gmail.com
I will be happy to reimburse your travel costs and a small budget is set aside for your support in leading the walks.
