Hiya,
I have made some enquiries and have possibly secured two new campsites in Cornwall, one close to Falmouth and one close to redruth. Both apparently have woods that can be used for bushcrafting! Will update with further details if/when they come off!:-D

Look forward to any progress on further info on these, although it is a bit of a trek for me, it's a nice place is Kernow ;)

Sounds interesting if you get the ok it would be good to see them on a map to get an idea of location and size.

Cheers for the replies! I have to meet up with the landowners to finalize permission but so far they seem keen! Will post progress and maps if they come off!:-D

Sounds good. You may want to keep maps off the main forum, and just let people know via PM. Being an open forum, anyone can view information posted. I'm sure you and the land owner don't want hordes of uninvited riff raff turning up :p

Sure thing mate, if it comes off then I don't wanna lose them cause of irresponsible people ruining it for the rest of us!

One turned out to be just a field with no trees etc and even then they couldnt be bothered to get back to me! The one in Falmouth seemed keen but wanted to know exact dates we would want to go because they hold shooting events on their ground so I spose they didnt want us in the way! I will drop them an email soon and see what the score is! Where abouts are you based?

Back end of Marazion pard! Been on the lookout for a hidden copse that fits but so far, they all seem to close to a road, have easy access(dog walkers) or too overgrown to get in! I have debated about the plantations around Fox Tor on Bodmin Moor; easy access but do get used by both the army and St Mawgan for SERE training.
Any thoughts T?

Trying to get permissions is a pain in the ass! I have tried several places to no avail, will keep trying and if any come off then I will let ya know! We normally end up at Woodland valley farm, nice woods, fires allowed, air rifle/shotgun friendly etc. All for £5 a night!

Have chassed up the site in Falmouth, it looks like it might be a goer! They want £7.50 a night and I havn`t checked it out yet but might be worth a visit!
