I drifted into a salvation army thrift shop today on the lookout for a bargain. My wife f.ex picked up an a mint condition Camelbak rucksack there 2 weeks ago for £4!

I spot this feller browsing in there with a pair of Norwegian army combat boots in his hand. They look brand new, and I spot the price tag... £7,50!
I rush to the shelf where they keep shoes...the man has the last pair!

I keep an eye on him as he debates with his mate if he should buy them or not. His mate is arguing for it! And wins his case!

I could have stabbed him with my cell phone right then....those cost 70-80£ and they are quite good. I know. My issue ones where worn to bits before I finally discarded them...

Well, well, I could only wish they would give him monsterous blisters as he payed for them and left...probably don't know how to care for them either. :mad2:

Too bad they weren't the 1968 model US Army jungle boots my uncle was issued for Viet Nam...then he'd really get blisters, and in time, he would have no hair left on his feet and ankles .
