Almost a reluctant convert!

Hi all from a Welsh accidental newcomer to bushcraft. I've been a rock climber, mountaineer, alpinist and instructor of outdoor education for 40+ years but just recently attended a most enjoyable two day bushcraft course. I was sceptical about it being "my thing" but was so impressed with the teaching, overlapping skills and interests that I have decided to learn more. My hobbies include tree propagation, mycology, alpine flora, xerophytes and organic gardening so I've made a start on the plant kingdom! I'm less able with the animal stuff as I'm a failed fisherman, gave up after a few hours of boredom as a child. Never shot or trapped anything. However the Rabbit Stew that Original Outdoors prepared for us on this bushcraft course may have changed my perspective forever!

Enough blather. I am glad to have arrived here. Thanks for the invite Sapper! I look forward to learning lots more.
