Hi Guys, Been stuck in the house for a while,been feeling unwell, I decided to have a go at making myself some Floats, I used Branches that were scrap,
and were flung in a large pile out the back of my place, here are a few pictures.

After carving them I used sandpaper rubbed them down, I then painted them black let them dry, then give them a yellow top. I'm planing to use them tomorrow camping at the side of a lake over night, and fishing. I hope to catch a few nice fish using them........:camping: Will let you know how I get on :)

looking good, nice floats can be expensive, do you know what the wood is that you used?

hope you have many a tight lines on your trip

Hi Madz I think the wood was pine, it was nice to work with, not had a chance to use the flouts yet, been quite busy.........

I used to make my own fishing floats BTW these look the Dogs Wotsits. "not had a chance to use the flouts yet, been quite busy........." Aye no doubt clearing up the mess vacuum the floor etc.. explaining to your other half or mam about the mess tee hee.. joking!

hi David ha ha know what you mean but I live on my own at the moment, so can get away with things the lady's don't like lol but miss not having a shed to work in i'm in a flat at the moment......

They look really good floats,best of all you made them from scraps and they occupied your time when you were unwell T^
