I was sent the following email, but thought some of you may be interested. I suspect it wouldn't be a hard-core bushcrafter's event but I reckon it would make a great family day out and may show the rest of the family what daddy does when he goes out dressed up like an idiot...

Spend the autumn half term in the woods learning about what makes this habitat so special and bushcraft skills that can be used. Activities will vary depending on the weather but should include tree ID, wildlife tracking, mallet making, fire building, wildfood foraging and preparation, Prepairing a rabbit and cooking over an open fire, plus much more. All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
