Bought theys off ebay wasnt sure about them to begin with but they have realy impressed me with how well they work, ive only ever used an oil stone before and a pretty old and gnarly on at that, but with only 30mins work ive brought a very old a blunt axe back to life :)

they certainly cut faster than most stones i have used but i personally dont like them, its only personal preference, i found the cheaper diamond stones to be pointless as they work well at first until they bend in the middle and a stone with a saddle can be a nightmare for some tools.

the only diamond sharpener i use is a pen style one that comes out with me due to its size, weight and pack ability, also due to it being able to shape metal quick, pretty good for out in the field but for at home its oil and water stones for me.

i can see the £90+ ones being alright as the materials used should be alot better

cheers
