Today I'm gonna try and build my first pop can stove, and my first ever take down buck saw.
Neither look to hard but I'm not the best with stuff like that.
I will upload photos as I go

cuts really well. Im going to replace the threaded bar with a stick and give it a coating of boiled linseed. Dont know if it will help but I got a big bottle of it so may aswell

Looking good, might be worth wrapping some para-cord around one end to make a "handle" to make it a-bit more comfortable to use.....................

Hi Mat,
How does the stove function, ok? Have you sealed it with anything? You can always use some aluminium foil as shown here: http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/kit/reviews/how-to-make-a-pop-can-meths-stove.html
Be good to see a shot of it burning ;)
Just spotted the pics of the saw - Nice work mate.

Good stuff
The best thing is saying your going to do it and actually doing it, and two things in one day, well achieved!
Who cares if they work haha,
Cheers

Great stuff mat,
They are handy things the folding buck saw, I've made one for my open canoeing trip, bought a pack of three blade so thought I'd make two more
