Ok Folks, who uses a Snugpak Top Quilt?
I currently use a Rab down sleeping bag that is never zipped up. I use it as a quilt but have found on occasions that it has got a little damp when in the hammock and the weather is less than ideal. Even when ground dwelling I never use it as a sleeping bag. As such I have been looking at various top quilts including the Thermarest Alpines, UK Hammocks etc. and found that the Snugpak is only 150 ish grammes more in weight. That I can live with quite easily and even put up with a little extra bulk, and the boy can then keep the Rab bag (he has been after it for long enough!)
What I would like to know is whether its up to a bit of winter use, and will it be comfortably long enough for someone not too short of 6 foot?
Thanks in advance.
