Yay, Ive seen this b4, the guys a yachty and writer, I use candles myself in jars they give of an good amount of heat, Have used in tents in winter but you have to make 100% sure on safety T^

Carbon monoxide can build up in small unventilated areas very quickly. Our bodies love CO 100times more than oxygen and kills you very quickly!

Be very, very, very careful using candles for room heating, they throw out a large amount of the carbon dioxide you don't want to breath in so you really must ensure a bit of extra ventilation.

Carbon dioxide isn't poisonous but carbon monoxides is very toxic.

My apology,

CM is a killer. I've an old Army Red Cross manual which first made me aware of candles and the fume given off by them, it (from memory) is about 12 times more due to incomplete combustion due to burning as opposed to a clean burning paraffin lantern.
