Xmas present queries

Hello
I recently ordered an enzo trapper in o1 for my dad but I simply wrapped the package it came in and put it under the tree
I just realised that it might start to rust, will it?
Should I unwrap it and put some oil on it?
Any answers would be great

if your house is that damp that a blade wrapped up will rust, then I think you have bigger problems mate! :D I really wouldn't worry about it and if it does somehow get a bit tarnished, then he will learn to resand the blade as part of the project
