*Warning, gore in attachments, don't open if you have a weak stomach*

Had a little wander on ye paddocks this afternoon, managed a nice buck whilst on the walk. Under estimated the range and the round struck through the sternum instead of a nice clean head shot.Sun went down so I decided to walk in the dark reflecting on a good afternoon rather then go spotlighting.

One day I might just use a centrefire rifle instead of a rimfire on these critters, but why bother with all the noise and costs?

yeah I only hunt to eat, and enjoy. Had to throw the skin this time around, it was only a summer skin anyway but I don't have any tanning solution left and my kids enjoy the brains on toast for breakfast.
