The wife got me a TW Hammock for Christmas and although I haven't used it in anger yet, I've tried it out in one of the sheds at my folks on Christmas day and again today in the back garden with my sleeping bag. Really impressed with the quality of construction, especially given the modest price, very comfortable, easy to set up and use and packs down really small. Doesn't have a midge net but going to 'pimp my hammock' to include one in the new year, as well as make an under quilt for it. Chuffed to bits, wish I'd got one sooner!

Another convert in the making! Nothing quite like a hammock for a good nights sleep.

I'll drink to that, as a recent convert ( worried ) I'm a plus one, early days in camp set up and lots to learn, but a comfy sleep it is :)

Congrats beermaker on making the leap to the tree dwelling side.
A fine purchase that you'll get lots of joy from.

Since getting my DD I've never used the mozzie net, I've only used it locally, the banks of the Tees and a syndicate near Scorton so I wouldn't worry about a net too much just yet. It will come in handy when I do Loch Ken this year though.

Perhaps see you out and about some time.

The banks of the Tees sound interesting, can you tell me what part or is it a secret

Got a couple of TW XL's and they have been so good, I'm looking at a 2 layer Hornet made to my own specs. If I do get one I'll post a review of some kind

You won't regret owning one, They are well made in my experience despite a couple of bad reviews I saw somewhere online

I have two of them, a Hornet and an XL.

Very well made and virtually bomb proof. Buy from the website and not Ebay, its always cheaper.
