View Full Version : How to stop the handle on your Zebra Pot getting hot!

One of the reasons why I bought the Zebra pot was that it fits on my Trangia, the problem I had on any stove was keeping the handle cool enough to hold without wearing leather gloves.
In the past we had "wedged" a spoon in the lid and supported the handle away from the heat (if that makes sense?)

Then one day...............Eureka!

A brain wave, using a cheap stainless steel skewer I bent it to shape, well a picture speaks a thousand words so here it is, make of it what you will but it works......

Please excuse the dodgy pictures..
