Making a leather bush hat

Has anyone here made their own leather bush hat???

I'm thinking of giving it a try.

Any help you can offer, such as patterns or tips would be greatly apreciated.

Mine current one is getting a bit past it so may make one to replace it in the Summer when I have time, does take a lot of leather though to make one.
