Hi all splashed out and bought one of those cheap stainless steal woodgas stoves of ebay and really wanted to get a pot to put it all in. In the end found a MSR pot from go outdoors, what follows is a short video of the shiny kit before the first firing and it not being that shiny any more.

And now the rolling boil and blacken pot.

And in this picture you can clearly see the gas jets

Total weight is just under 800g which may seem a little on the heavy side but when you consider you don't need to carry any fuel it kind of equals out in my mind.
Anyway hope you enjoy John

That is just excellent, and I am now suffering from a serious attack of shiny kit envy :-)

That looks as good as the original I was thinking that if the arms break on mine I will get a stainless steel grill and cut it to fit on the top.

backpackinglight do a grill for stoves -
6x6 version http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/cooking-accessories/RE108.html
7x7 version http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/cooking-accessories/RE109.html
I have the 6x6 for the Honey stove and never bother with the top plate that came with it.

If you add a grill it will need to be elevated, to be honest I would opt for a griddle type rather than a grill, less charcoal sausages, a trivet version makes a great pot stand

Interesting to see on video. What size is that pot John? I know it's 775 ml but judging by the brickwork is it 20 cm diameter or close? ( Just thinking about Bergan side pockets...;)

Just had a thought I have a few bits of stainless steel in my garage that I can use to make a griddle type of thing as tigger004 has said, but hopefully I wont need to.

The pot is about 150mm (170mm with clips) x 80mm inc lid and handle if that helps fits perfect into the top pocket on my web-tec daysack
