Well after a crap few years trying to save my house and my life from going under, and a long awaited trip to New Jersey in the USA and a well deserved break, which I abosuloutly loved the people in America are great people and very genourous and genuinely have a love and warmth for us British folk,I can't describe it as soon as they hear you talk, there all over you like a rash in a good way,and I managed to see where they filmed the first Friday the 13th film:),I recommend USA to anyone, anyway if it wasn't for my fishing that helps me unwind and relax I wouldn't of got through these couple of hard years.and it was thanks to fishing I'm back here I recognised bernie from exmouth when he signed up to a forum I was on.anyway I've got all well most of the bushcraft gear,so I intend to get out a bit more and indulge in this hobby of mine.anyway I'm glad to see it hasn't changed much on here :).anyone in the Torbay area of Devon wants a partner pm me.peace and good wishes to all,Martin if he is still on here I'm off the ciggie's and have been for years now lol

Good to see you again buddy. I am glad things are on the mend, went through that process myself a few years back and it's not a process I would indulge in again.

Thank you Justin, I've learned a serious life lesson, they say what doesn't hurt you, wont kill you.

Glad I brought you back to this wonderful community (even if I didn't know I was doing it :D ).
I'm even more glad you've managed to weather the storms life threw at you. I sometimes remind myself of part of a poem when life gets me down:
Life offers joy along with pain
So take the dice and roll again
I don't recall the rest of it, but it's from a very strange book called "Hallelujah Anyway (https://www.oxfam.org.uk/shop/books/science-fiction-and-fantasy/hallelujah-anyway-hd_100014883?pscid=ps_ggl_PLAs)".
Soon the sun will be with us more each day, and we'll be able to relax in the warmth of it's rays and enjoy the fruits of nature again. :)

Hi Kieran. I'm still here and I've been off the fags for four years in April. Glad things are looking up for you. :)
