Hello from Northern Scotland

Hiya everyone

My name is Al and I live about 40 miles north of Aviemore in Scotland although I'm originally from Scunthorpe area in Lincolnshire.

I work in the whisky industry (yes it has it's perks) and previously worked in the RAF.

I'm just starting to get into bushcraft/wild camping. I've been reading the forum for a while now trying to gain some info on kit and techniques and though I should really join in and say hi.

Hope you can put up with my 'silly questions' from time to time, although I will always try to use the forum search facility first.
