Hi again guys, am setting this group up to run alongside Northern Soul and not in competiton. I'm hoping to gather a small band of locals who want to meet frequently, maybe sometimes just for a few hours, to develop our skills and knowledge through sharing. Anyone interested email me at lamby73@hotmail.com so I can get us organised and look for a venue for a first meet up.

I'm off with a bunch (about 12) of other bushcrafters for a get-together in North Wales so I can't offer to meet up this weekend - sorry.

2 weeks ago some of us Northern types were down on Dartmoor (shared a car) having a real riot of a time. There's another meet down there this weekend but we were already commited to North Wales. More coming up in the next few weeks and months both North and South.

Been out on long weekend jaunts and 'doing it' about 6 times this year so far, and with the weather getting better we'll get more active.

Like any of the meet-ups publicised on the forum it is open to anybody, first come first served.

I can guarentees there will be archery, bow drill, plant and tree ID and other skill sharing at this meet. The chance to meet like-minded people, a communal meal on Saturday, a few beers round the fire and a bloody good laugh.

Definately! But I think you've missed the boat. There was a max of 10 set by Steve (the landowner) and all places are taken +2. But if he gives you a thumbs up by the morning, I'm gonna leave home by 12 tomorrow, send me a PM and I'll pick you up.
