Hi Guys,

I came accross this earlier - www.gisurplus.co.uk

There are some generic items on it that we may all use at some point (cookers, blankets etc) so Fletch suggested maybe we could get a group buy on the go?

Everyone have a peak and decide if they want in on this.

I would guess I would go for blankets, cookware, tents and bags....

I could be wrong but do you not need to be an actual retailer to buy from trade?

I'd go for a pack or two at that price - my mates always need to borrow kit for going with me.

Anyone for pup tents?

Re needing to be a retailer...it doesn't seem to ask for a vat number or anything....

Let us all know... if its good we will probably all go for em :P

Also guys the price doesn't include tax or delivery so for the blankets it might not be worth it (Surplus and adventure do blankets at £12... add tax and delivery then redelivery to those russian blankets and it may end up the same price...)

I would be interested in a few things if it's possible to trade with them.

Coma, to make things easier on yourself mate, compile a list of who wants what (make the list final), give the store a call and see what kinda group buy discount they can offer, add 15% for P & P and see who's still up for it. :)

...you're still gonna have to either post the stuff yourself IF you don't get everyone's details first (after payment to your bank or Paypal account) and then pass these on to the store.

It might be worth seeing if it's viable to buy from them before everyone gets their hopes up.

Any word?
