I've got a stove with 2 hobs and a grill underneath that usually runs off a Calor gas cylinder, small rubber pipe which goes into a regulator I'm sure you know the type I mean.i want to ditch the Calor gas as there expensive and run it off the cheaper butane cartridges is there an adaptor I can buy to do this I have looked on evil bay but couldn't find one, if anybody has seen them on there or can point me in the right direction with a ebay link it would be much appreciated, thanks all.

I don't think the little cans would have the pressure to run your stove. Also Butane is crap in cooler weather and if it did work you'd go through a 250g can in no time. Propane costs about £2 a kilo of gas, the little cans at their cheapest is £4 a kilo so double the running cost. Have you looked at the 6kg Calor Lite bottles?

You'd need a regulator valve, but Primus 2000 canisters I think might be what your looking for. I though am not responsible if you take your eyebrows off as it's a prehistoric manual regulator with no flashback arrester.

Good thing is though, primus 2000 bottles can be refilled. I have a coupler for doing it somewhere. Just make sure you get the gauge calibrated as the bottles can go off like a rocket.
