Hi there I'm looking into a second knife for my Bushcrafting needs.

I was wondering if there are any blacksmiths on here that can make it and also work out a price. And would be needing a sheath it.

Anyone please.

There are several, but there is also a lot of knifemakers!and also a lot of advice if you wish to make your own??or put your own handle onto a blade made to your specification!Best of luck.sure people will get back to you.But why not do a search of the forum. The info is all there!

Dave Budd. There are many excellent knifemakers on here, and from what I've seen, Dave is one of the few true smiths. I know there are others, but my memory is not so good.

hello :)

How much would depend on what you want. I primarily forge my blades, but on occasion I have to make them by stock removal as well (mind you, those occasions are normally because I have forged a billet or pattern welded or laminated steel first). Have a gander at my website for an idea of what I make.

You could also come on a course and learn to make your own if you like, I'm local being the other side of the moor to you :happy-clapping:

Like I kept trying to tell a student the other week, a woodland in the middle of nowhere does not have a post code! Let me know when you would like to come and visit and I will give you directions ;) I'm not in a location where a casual pop in is feasible, it has to be pre-arranged times
