Dont know if you have seen these before.
A bloke came into work with one & I thought they were a good idea for you coffee lovers.
They are lightweight & quite cheap.

Had one quite a while, but its not as good as putting a perculator on the fire/stove!
If that was my only choice.I'd rather use the 3 in 1.packets n add hot water.for a quick brew!

I'll stick with a stainless mug (can be recycled) or a wooden kuksa (if I ever make one).
I try avoid plastic these days. I've seen a beach of plastic bottles, containers and what-not in the Maldives (Sri Lanka is far worse with open dumps everywhere, including river banks and beaches). Such a stark contrast from nature's beauty to the horrific mess we humans make was shocking. I have a loathing for shampoo bottles and canned drinks rings now. :(

Sad but true :(
I too use my stainless steel canteen cup system for just about everything cooking & eating wise.

A couple of years back I found 3 used syringes, one with a needle still attached on a local beach. They were promptly removed.

That reminds me, I still have Marvells mug insert picked up from the floor of the woods from Woodland Valley meet. That must be over a year now!
