Are we seeing the last gasps of winter's snow?
The last few piles of snow are hanging on like grim death over here; mostly those filthy mounds in parking lots. Otherwise, it appears that Spring has 'sprung.'

I saw the first dandelions poking their heads up yesterday, today we've had 4 inches of snow so far, and it keeps coming...
But spring is in it's early days still here...so I guess winter still have a few kicks left in it...

Ha! That sounds very familiar: the daffodils and irises are pushing up in my gardens, it was about 75F on Sunday and Monday, but today it's 39F and sleeting outside. But the robins are back, there's a nest on my porch light already and the red-wing blackbirds returned enmasse just a couple of weeks ago too.
Looking forward to this season! :D

We got a visit from a flock of snow Buntings yesterday, on their way north and to Greenland I think. When they head north thats the end of winter...

lol and we're getting nothing but rain over here :p. What was left of the snow melted back in March when the rains started.
