we are in the middle of a thunder storm here tonight and elisha just caught the power station and the telly transmitter getting struck at the same time

its amazing what can come of a picture...she just got an email from the power station asking if they can use the pic giving elisha full credit and also can they print it out for the staff that work there....and there's more....they have a light display on the tower that they turn on in TT week...they have asked elisha to do the turn on,she is getting the harness on and going to the top of the tower....and there's more....while she is up there they have asked her to take some pictures for them...if thats not the boost she needs right now i dont know what is,and its all her own doing..i'm dead proud of her...kev

cheers mate i will do..the funny thing was they dident even know they had been struck untill they seen the pic,it knocked out the transmitter tower on douglas head but just must have earthed out on the power station,no damage or power surges..nothing..atb kev

I'm a little bit late coming to this thread, but that's a great picture, and an even greater story to go with it.
I take it that Elisha is your daughter whose been having problems recently? If so, this could just be the boost she needs to find her way and meaning in life and give her something to be positive about and see a good and worthwhile future.
