Halibut fishing in Norway

Wen't halibut fishing with a mate in Harstad harbour yesterday. My friend has caught halibut to 70lb at this mark.

Arrived in early evening and kept at it to midinght. The only result was this small 5lb halibut caought by me mate. I had on one that was probably larger, but lost it. Next time!

Anyway, here is vid of the reeling in of the small one we did take. It will be on the barbecue today :-)

I not to wild about them. I like cod better. But I will not pass on a meal of halibut. It is good!

I love this fish, and to catch it on rod and line, man I have location envy all over again, nice one :)
