Wild Camping and Mountain Biking - Yorkshire

Hi,
I am looking for some new mountain bike adventures around Yorkshire with the option of throwing in some wild camping (Bivy bag and basha, thats all) while im out some where.
Has anyone on this site any locations / trips around Yorkshire that they would like to suggest?
I love the Dales and the North York Moors and no them fairly well and id like to explore the Pennines some more.
I'm based in Wakefield West Yorkshire so im in a good central location to get out and about.

Any help / advice greatly appreciated

Hi mate am new to biking and am going up the lakes to try a few days wild with bike in tow, never done the dales as it's too strict on rangers and wild camping. If you ever go to the lakes give me a shout.

Will do cheers. I am hoping to get into the Lakes at the back end of summer into autumn.
Where are you headed in the Lakes?
If your just getting into biking then i would recomend the dales. There are natural trails for all abilities.
have a look at the Dales Bike Centre - it makes a great base for getting out to explore
