Just back from an AWESOME 7 day SUP (Stand up Paddleboard) / Bushcraft expedition in Poland.

We sponsored a 1000km expedition from the Eastern border of Poland to the Western border...

It was in part a scientific expedition which in fact was very successful. Our scientist found some aquatic beetles that he has been searching for, for over 20 years.

Partly also though, it was to send along a young gun with this very very seasoned scientist and long distance river traveler (who is now getting on a bit), to learn the tricks of the river trade, so his learning is not lost.

Worthy cause I think.

I've just bought a SUP not long ago. I might have to try and kit it out bushcraft-style now. :)

Go for it mate. It really really works together very well. Much harmony with the bushcraft approach and mindset....

Looks like it was a nice trip. Some nice locations in the pics.

A totally smooth strong and wonderful trip with so many impressions. Wow.

I can only say - go see Poland. It's amazing!
