Hi folks
Came across this Forum and liked what I saw, you seem a friendly bunch so I thought I would join.I don't know very much about Bushcraft in fact nothing really but I am semi retired now and spend a lot of time wandering around the woods and footpaths in the area with the dogs and Jackie (my wife ) don't seem to mind , I'm just thinking about that as I write this( there is a lot of milk in the fridge and she is very friendly with the milkman). The more time I spend wandering throu the woods and across the footpaths the more I like it so I thought I would have a look on here and learn a little more,I know I am not in the same league as you bunch but I may get there in the end .I just watched the video on putting up tarps and I've been practising the knots needed for about 30 mins,so if there is anyone in the Essex area could pop around and untie me that would be good bye for now.

Hi Ehecati
I've had a quick look at that thread , I take it you don't get many vegetarians dropping in .Where about's was the video taken ?.

Hi Sid.

It was taken at Mark's permission near Romford - one of the Breakfast Club's Essex Overnighters. I think one veggy turned up for one of the meets but we suspect that Paul ate him! I recall doing a Mexican salad to accompany one of our evening meat-fests and 97% ended up binned. Of the remaining 3%, half was possibly consumed and the remainder I wore proudly down the front of my Norwegian top.

It's not all meat though. After dinner we eat lots of cheese and this is generally washed down with Taylor's port (all very vegetarian).

Cheers,

M@
