I am doing a canoe trip with a mate next week, and we camping under tarps on the river Gt Ouse. Now I like my comfort, and going to the loo in the early hours when it is raining can be a bit of a drag if you only have a loo roll and a spade!

So, I have ordered one of these for the trip;

OK, not exactly rough camping, but I'm getting on a bit you know!

I reckon that this would also be ideal for people with small campers with limited facilities.

I will write a review when I am back from my trip. (without too much detail!)

I've seen another version of that, but not as well made. Always nice to have a luxury or two when you're out and about :)

Not much good on a hike I admit. But a canoe gives a bit more scope to carry the odd luxury!

Not sure about the ethics of burying or binning the bags though ? (They are bio-degradable). Although I suppose nappies and 'Doggy' bags are binned.

Well I suppose I should write a review.

It did what it said on the can!

Very good. Bags are a bit expensive, but I'm sure improvised ones could be made. It is very strong and takes up little space in the canoe when packed. I would not get the same tent again as it is a bit flimsy, but you wouldn't need that.

Definitely more comfortable and more like using the one at home than a Thetford.

To be honest, it was pure luxury!

I had to carry a "portaloo" and toilet tent when we went canoe camping the once, it was either that or my wife and daughter (then about 7) wouldn't come. This gadget would fill the "gap" between my Canoe khazi (http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?7496-Canoe-Khazi&highlight=khazi) and real toilets.

Cheers
Tim
