I looked at the reviews for the place and it seems to be great for only £5.00 a night. Also includes hot showers, toilets and a washing up area.

The best thing about this place is that campfires are allowed, and there are very little rules. The owners seem to be spot on and it looks a great place for bigger meets in the future.

The facilities might take us up to the poshcrafting level but its nice to have a few luxuries !!.

Just read thats its only open for two months a year, July and August. Wonder if its a typo.

Probably not a typo, it looks like a farm site, there`s a couple round Penzance which only open a couple of months a year. Something to do with campsite licences/planning/bureacracy. Landowners can open as a campsite for a restricted period and not have to jump through the normal hoops.

You are right Delboy.

Spoke to a neighbouring camper who visits regulary and he said the same thing. We expected it to be quiet but nearly three fields were full around the edges. A great place to take the kids as it has hot showers, toilets and washing up facilities.

Will pop back again next year if the young uns want a night out.
