Pine resin chewing gum

I have heard about people making chewing gum out of black spruce resin in america, i was just wonderin if you can make it out of pine resin, and if you can has anyone got a recipe or know a website with a recipe.

Yep, I've heard that if you add gum Arabic, corn starch/flour, and aspartame(or sugar) you can make an authentic olde worlde gum, I've not tried it yet
