Birthday is coming up soon and the wife has asked me what I would like.
First on the list is a power bank. I'm looking for one that holds a good charge and will cover a Samsung S3 for three charges and also four batteries from one of those ecig vape things. Is there one that holds this much power for around 40/50 quid.
I'm also looking for one of those Bluetooth speakers. I first saw one a month ago when I was at a meet and forum member Skate had one. Cool little bits of kit and they sound really nice. Anybody else got one, what do you recommend.
Cheers.

I have been quite impressed by the X Mini range of speakers. Small, light and plenty of sound. Available in a bluetooth version which will also connect by the cable incorporated, and rechargeable via USB.
For power I would check out Brunton. I am seriously looking at investing in one of their power packs but still working out what size I would need for my expedition needs.

I bought this power bank on recommendation from a friend. It's built like a tank so can take the knocks and i'v charged my android phone three times and my 7" tablet from it and it still had plenty of juice left. I'm really pleased especially for the price!

Thanks for the replies and all the links.
I think they all have great qualities so might ask the wife to pick one of them.

Do you have one of those solar charged ones. Can you also charge it by plug or usb.

Chubbs I had a PICO solar powered one and also got the large charging panel that sits on your rucksack top to , "speed up" the charging process. Total waste of money in MHO as it would take about four days of constant Sahara like sun to charge the power bank from empty. Needless to say in our country it would take about four years to charge it.Hence the reason i bought the EasyAcc powerbank.

Hi mate
I've not bought one to be honest but was thinking of as a spare for that price, they have a big bank 50000mAh so you'd get quite a few charges out of it, also not sure if this model has two USB sockets, i dont think id buy it for the solar side of it, it can be charged up at home and just used as a recharge top up for you phone .BTW solar doesn't need sunlight to charge, it can charge even on a cloudy day, it works off day light but I am no expert, I have one that was made and i get about five full charges out of it with my iPhone, those look ok but you never can tell until you try one,
