Finally got hold of someone yesterday and unfortunately, they do allow dogs. :D On the plus side, his flatulence has settled down after some dietary changes which is just as well seeing as he'll be in the hammock with me.

The good news is that as our son's house purchase completed on Friday and as such items that were taking up precious space in my garage are no longer there! Yay! :o

This means I will have some room to prepare my kit for the weekend. Hurrah!

I estimate getting there for about noon. When is everyone else planning on arriving?

Tony1948

The dog was slowly rotated during the course of the evening and once he'd stopped steaming I knew he was dry enough for bed. Unfortunately, he'd grown since he'd last been in my hammock and he couldn't get comfortable, hence neither of us got a good night's sleep. Every time he stood up to get comfy, the whole thing would begin to swing and his eyes would widen to the size of saucers. We got up to answer the call of nature at 03:00. Benny was too energetic in his attempt to jump back into the hammock. He went clean over the top and landed on the other side.

13401

It was with regret that I decided to lower everything to ground level in the pursuit of a good night's sleep. It was however a success. I woke up early and then realised it wasn't. It was 09:00!

This was the sunset on Saturday night - a real contrast to the previous evening....

13403

Benny had several walks and had eaten quite a bit of Mark's wood, so he was quite tired (again)

13404

This is Mark's washing machine drum in action. Not something I would recommend unless camping-from-car but a really good bit of recycling.
