Hi

I've been a watcher on this site for ages, but recently joined.

I love outdoors stuff, but don't do anywhere near enough. When I do, however, I try and encourage my child Little Boots to join in.

Some of this I sporadically record on my blog (https://gardeningboots.wordpress.com/).

I wouldn't describe myself as bushcrafter per se, but as a tree lover, camper, gardener, angler, fire-starter and (often shabby) fabricator/crafter/maker, all which taken together probably gets me some of the way there.

"Hello and welcome" is the translation ;). I not nearly as fluent as I would like, I took one year's worth of lessons from a teacher who learned in Connemara, and thereafter everything has been on my own, independent study. I tend to focus on the Dún na nGall (Donegal) dialect most, that area is rich with heritage and history and they still express it in sean-nós (old traditional) songs. :)
