Everything there except my wood gas burner, and my AWOL frying pan...grrrr
I guess the search for the perfect stove, pot or kettle is futile...at least on my budget, lol

Why do you focus on gas/alcool stoves ? Why not open fires ? Or even wood stove ?
In my opinion, it's my perfect way to cook.

Because I am not always at a place where an open fire is possible or even legal. Also the climate here is very wet, and the forest is mainly birch. So all dead standing that could be used for firewood is soaked and rotten. That said. The stove that sees the most use is my wood gas stove. It's not in the picture because I did not bother getting it out of my go-bag, where it lives permanently due to much use :-)
On overnighters I always bring a gas (kerosene stove in winter) simply because I live sitting in the hammock in the morning while brewing up for breakfast. With an open fire I would have to get out of the hammock.
Oh and because the world may look like this when I wake up....

This is the same place just before I went to bed, but from the opposite side of the fire.

You have nothing to worry about Rune, as a stove collector I'd say you are still a Padawan ;)

Nah I don't see anything wrong there. Isn't any worse than my near 50 knives collection lol. Love the gsi tea kettle ya have got one myself great kit I drool over those old stoves to nice collection ya got.
Yep while camp fire cooking might be fun and all some days I can't be bothered using a wood stove. Gas ones even alchy are preferred for me these days.

When everything is wet, and all you want is something warm down your neck, it's just a chore finding dry wood, kindling, etc.
The hard part up here is not to light the fire. Any fool can do that. It's keeping it burning, with all the soaked, rotten wood that sometimes is the only wood available that is the challenge.
And sometimes that is just to much work...so a stove it is.
