Hi guys ive only just started getting into bushcrafting ive allways like camping but i feel a little closer to nature with bushcraft

as ive just been skinted buy bills lol (dont we all) :) dont have much money but after watching some of your guys videos i found that alot of the stuff most poeple have laying around the house

i had this old kitchen utilities stand and after watching Justin's home made hobo stove it inspired me to turn this utilities stand to a hobo stove hear some pics of it boiling some water

it just goes to show you dont allways need lots of money to have the equipment you need

Ps keep the site going love it found and learnt alots from this site allready thanks guys keep it up

Hi xxcbxx,Welcome to the forum, I'v got the some stove(cheep)I'v also got a cheep cup a stanless steel out of the £ shop fits on top just rite with 2 steel tent pegs throw the top holes..............atb...............TONY......... ..DONT GET EATON BY THE BEARS...........

Bril hobo stove, I did exactly the same thing when I first started out. Worked a treat.
Why I then spent £35 on a Honey stove, I've no idea. Doh !

Nice work XX - a nice shiny peice of kit result. Anyway, never mind the stove - how about a close up of that mug in the first pic. that looks like top totty! Does this explain the XX prefix/suffix?

Knocked one up out of a £16 coffee, tea, sugar and biscuit tin set last night. Taking it to Daves this weekend for first trials. Will let you know how it goes.

Just to resurect an old thread - Tesco have a nice stainless cutlery drainer in at the moment, all filled with the necessary holes idealy sized for the tent pegs, for the princely sum of £6 for those wanting a go at the hobo
