hello,
Are you referring to spear fishing as in diving with a spear gun or standing by the waters edge with an improvised spear? :confused2: This maybe of some interest to you http://www.underwaterfishing.co.uk/ http://www.spearfishing.co.uk/ http://www.cornwalldivers.co.uk/spearfishing/ good luck with your research.

David

Hi there.

Never done it myself but have seen a few guys doing it down on Swanpool Beach, Falmouth way a while back. While I was there one of them pulled out a small Pollack.

It has been great fun (the few times Ive been). Im surprised how much I sometimes see! But also noticed in the four years ive been snorkling/spearfishing that the amount of fish are getting less. Maen Porth/Swanpool have been really good for crabs on the low tide.....even some lober! Also on another note the amount of rubbish is sometimes shocking! I often come out with a net full.....more rubbish than fish :(
