Got given a package from a member of the bushcraft USA website. Felt it was fair tonight an unboxing, especially as I was only expecting a single fire steel.

hello,
Just to reiterate both myself & nephilim are members of the Bushcraft USA forum. I didn't realise we were both on the Natural Bushcraft UK forum as well. I added Carl's details to the BCUSA *Secret Santa list. Carl posted details on YouTube as you can see opening the box I sent him. So I've posted my reply to Carl via BCUSA just to clarify the contents.
OMG nephilim Dude.. What can I say YouTube I'm a celebrity LMAO. The contents.. the LightMyFire Scouts 2.0 should keep you going for a wee while, the contents are all brand new. I'm sorry to see the pocket fire stash plastic box had a crack down the side, I didn't notice that, maybe occurred in transit? the Trangia bags they're direct from Trangia Sweden. I received a bundle of them great for stashing your burner or pop can stove & rolled up for dry tinder. The flints & wick are *replacements for the pocket stash lighter or your Zippo, as Zippo are far superior to the pocket stash wicks & as Zippo contain a brass sleeve they keep a slightly longer ember in the wick. Wicks can be used individually BTW as a slow match *tried & tested. The spoons I'm sure are carved from iron tree wood. The multi tool credit card can be magnetised suspended from a string & used as a improvised directional compass, great too for striking your fire steels BTW watch that sharp edge on the blade.. blade edge try it out for making fire feather sticks. I'm glad you liked the contents & hope that you shall put them to greater use, with my compliments.
Regards
David
