a bit cheaper than all else I could find... some people were wanting about £20 for a single 2400kcal ration pack...

You may well do a better deal with WESTLERS FOODS (http://www.westlerfoods.com/). They do the stuff that goes in the rat packs. They even do Compo Sausages if you happen to like such a thing; available in packs of 12 tins.
