Just wondered if anyone here had tried this tool?
It looks like a good idea but then it does look a little plastictastic . ...

It's quite pricey , but if it's a solid bit of kit then maybe not so bad....
Anyone care to shed some thoughts on this seemingly handy bit of kit?

I looked at something similar recently - I think it might even be the same - sadly I can't remember who it was made by. Like you I felt it looked a bit "plasticky" and as I prefer to avoid too much plastic (did you know it's toxic) I will pass on it :)

hello,
Woody if your looking for a saw I'd stick with the Bahco Laplander or one of the Aldi or Lidl folding saws. I know you've posted a link for both axe & saw but IMHO steer clear. Your local DIY store should have some similar folding saws not too pricey.
Regards
David

Thanks David, I already own a little Laplander, and it's great . I've also already got a small forest axe that covers most of my needs. And a bigger one ( woodlore/gransford bruks ) for heavier work.[emoji41]

Just thought I'd see what people think of this, as it's all the tools in one, thus saving weight/space when out and on the move.

I'm not even sure I want to buy it, just thought I'd share this to see if its any good , and thought someone else might find it interesting...[emoji4]

Cheers

I've seen some pretty dire reviews on that Zippo tool. I'd second just getting a Laplander.
