hello,
Attack of the killer ravens flocks "unkindness" (collective name for ravens) are slaughtering lambs what is going on? I've seen this before a number of years ago around 2008 if memory serves me. One of the areas near a 'rights of way' we walk & use for practicing Bushcraft skills. I suppose it is nature but for the sheep farmer that's their livelihood. A few years ago the RSPB Scottish Natural Heritage were tagging ravens where I live as a protected species. They estimate there are presently around 12,000 breeding pairs in Britain, up to half of which are in Scotland. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/01/death-from-above-the-ravens-slaughtering-newborn-lambs/

its a very common problem. if there are sheep around where ravens are you will get them predating on the sheep.. the reason its covered so much in the media is because of the brutal nature of what ravens do to the sheep .. because they have such big strong beaks they can inflict alot of damage. if a sheep becomes cast (stuck on its back and unable to get up) ravens can remove their eyes and/or their genitals and bum holes, while they are still alive. they do the same with new born lambs. - iv had alot of dealings with raven damage as a gamekeeper and former sheep farmer (hence the name shepherd) but i love them, their beautiful majestic bird with a call that sends a shiver down my spine.. there just making their way in the world like everything else is.

Magpies are swines too, spent my teens working on a sheep farm, they used to peck the newborn lambs eyes out and as they bleated in pain would take the tongue and any other soft tissues, ravens, crows, magpies, rooks, kites, buzzards, etc its not nice to see, but thats nature
