New woods

I have an option of leasing some woods but before I put pen to paper, I thought I'd see if there was any interest. The woods are just outside Buxton. There is a toilet on site, compost, a parachute over the fire and small individual fires are allowed. Secure parking.Clean water would be available.Cost would be £5 per night.
Anyone interested ?

I'm nowhere near, but that's a great idea.

Many folk in England struggle to find suitable woodland like that , where they can "wild" camp and hone their skills. Including fire lighting , etc. because of the Law.

Could be something you could do as an organised meet. These will soon get some interest and folks will travel a bit further to have a decent gathering with likeminded fellows

I'd be interested for a meet up and camp but not sure how often, you need to be looking at fizzle if you are committing to any long term investment. Being honest it's great but in reality how often would people travel 80, 100 or 120 miles to wild camp,
