That does look nice.
But does anyone know what that bit of tang sticking out the back end of the handle is for?

"Another benefit of full-tang is the ‘crusher’ at the pommel end – it’s not only there for looks. You can use it to crush and hammer stuff (and save the blade just for cutting), to open metal container lids, break glass in an emergency, use it as a small wedge/prybar or even to strike a magnesium rod to start a fire."

I think I love it too
....
Done a bit of reading and decided,
The price now doesn't look so unjustified... Just wish I had money!
Loads of it...
:)
Got enough knives though...
Wonder how much it costs in Norway....?

Sorely tempted I have to admit. I do like helle. It'll have to be pretty special to replace my normal go to knife though and for that price it seems a lot to not use it much

That's still not as cheap as I thought it would be in its country of origin.
Thanks for the info Rune.

Good luck trying to explain to swmbo that those hotdogs need to be opened with this knife....

Just be careful not to make it look like a present for her. That's the reason steph uses a Zeiss scope and can't shoot for toffee XD

For smashing-in the heads of zombies during the inevitable zombie apocalypse :guns: :zombie-fighting:
