    Red squirrel reintroduction

Interesting one came up on YouTube. Really hope this works out and happy to do my bit in keeping the greys down whenever possible.

I've spent the last two weeks on the Isle of Wight and I saw plenty as I was lucky enough to visit someone who feeds them.

I appreciate that the photos do not contain "Tuffty". My Red Squirrel photo died with my SD card.

I have a very vague recollection of seeing reds in one of the London parks and that would have been some 35 years ago now. Quite sad really.

When I moved here ( Northumberland) I used to see quite a few reds. Even a family. But sadly that was the last time. Everyone I know shoots greys, but, unfortunately their move north is continuing. Must go drey shooting in spring!!!
