    I actually use my Firesteel 90% of the time when I'm out camping however in this video I purposely wanted to keep the ignition tool simple (because that wasn't really what we wanted to focus on). What I'm getting at is a match or lighter is a lot easier for youngsters or new bushcrafters to use, this let's them focus on the fire-building instead of struggling with lighting their tinder.

    great video my stepson can make a fire and light it with a match but not with a fire steel i get it dont work can we go know lol
    but when he gets the fire going he wants to cook a 5 course meal lolol
