Very nice, i have dont have much luck at carving a fork as nearly always break the prongs.

Try using a swiss army knife saw and a small knife to make life easy - and mind the pink bits!

Like what you've done in the last pic... Positioning the scar over the twig, made me do a double take!

You bet! I've made a couple of nets before but not practiced net-making for a few years now and will no doubt feel like a complete beginner again when I try it

Thanks for all the compliments guys, it's a continual learning process whittling and an enjoyable one at that! I still see really elegant spoon designs about that I can't quite pull off - I haven't got a artist'eye but when I get whittling sometimes I wish I did!
