Bushcraft & Survival Magazine Paypal Subscription

If you have an annual Paypal subscription setup to the Bushcraft & Survival Skills magazine than you will want to read this:

I'm not disrespecting the magazine here; this is no doubt an innocent mistake and I just wanted to make others aware that might run into the same problem... On 6th Oct 2011 I subscribed via their website for a 2 year Subscription paying via Paypal. One year on I have been charged again £58 for a two year subscription and on the transaction page it says my next auto-billing date is 6th Oct 2013 for another £58! - So I'm incorrectly being billed annually for a 2 year subscription!

I suspect there are probably others getting incorrectly billed like me.

I've contacted them on Twitter @BushcraftMag as they are good at getting back to you on Twitter. I'll let you know how it goes.

This thread is just to discuss this Paypal billing error, please don't leave general opinions about the magazine here but feel free to do that in a different thread if you want to.

I had the same on my renewal. They extended the subscription period to 3 years to take it into account and the automatic payment from Paypal was cancelled so that it would not happen again. It took a while to get it all sorted as they were busy with the Bushcraft Show and the email was not working from their side but all was well in the end.
