A description of the event from Wilderness Gathering LTD:

"Following the first successful Naturefest in 2010, an outdoor event which celebrates the rich diversity of the Natural World, we're pleased to announce dates for the next one in 2011.

Its a place where you can enjoy interacting with Nature and an opportunity to meet a host of experts who experience all the splendours that nature has to offer and who are willing to share their skills with you.

Country Pursuits, Wildlife, Conservation, Permaculture, Bushcraft, Ornithology, Expeditions, Tracking, Environmental, Forestry and green woodwork, Primitive Living Skills and Traditional Country Crafts.

Lots of trade stands displaying and retailing all kinds of equipment to enhance your enjoyment of Nature and its beauty!"

Day Tickets

Tickets will be available at the gate each day. Its not possible to book these in advance.

 

Daily Entrance Fee

Adults                 £10 each
Senior Citizens      £8 each
Children 5-16         £6 each

Under 5                      Free
Camping - per tent     £6.50

 

Camping

Camping will be available outside the main arena for those that want to make a weekend of it. Day ticket will have to be bought for each day even if camping.

Alexanders (very good at the moment)
Chirvil (be very careful , as Hemlock Water-Dropwort is starting to sprout now and looks very similar, but is deadly poisonous!)

Sea Purslane
Rock Samphire (still usable, but a bit over now, coastal)
Yarrow
Rose Hips
Common Sorrel
Ivy-Leaved Toadflax
Wood sorrel
Three-cornered leek
seaweeds
